Here are a few basics for Kolob Campground guests.
The weather on Kolob is unpredictable. It will be cool (even cold) in the evenings with large temperature swings. It's always a good idea to bring cold-weather gear!
Wind can be a factor at Kolob Campground. Campers should ensure all tents are staked properly and lines secured.
WiFi is available at the campground. WiFi information is provided by the host after you book a campsite.
Cell service is not available at the reservoir. If you need anything you can email or call from the WiFi Zone using WiFi calling.
Fire restrictions change quickly and may be in effect by local authorities when you arrive. During restrictions, wood fires and charcoal are not permitted. The camp host has propane fire bowls for rent for your campfire experience (without the smoke). These are great for s'mores or hotdogs, but not suitable for cooking/grilling.
Fire bowls are $55 for your stay including one tank of propane.
Water and restrooms are located on the east side of the campground. There are also public restrooms down the hill next to the Boat Ramp.
For the recreation enthusiast, Angels Leading Ledge Walk is an amazing opportunity to take a private hike along the edge of Zion National Park.
Rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle board directly from the camp host, or through our partners at Kolob Adventure Rentals. Their phone number is 435.767.1385.
